Jeong-Hui Min is a wealthy business woman living in luxury in the upper levels of Jisang. Her family was one of the founders of Jisang, and has worked closely with the government for generations. Born into a life of luxury she could have done whatever she wanted, however Jeong-Hui was drawn to people, more specifically to controlling people. Power was something she grasped at an early age, playing with dolls and bossing around her playmates. As she grew older she grew bored with attending parties and threw herself into learning. She worked her way up the Mantra corporation through wit and cunning until she eventually landed an executive position.
Jeong-Hui Min is one of the few people in Jisang to interact with the outside world. She manages the trade deals with foreign powers and organizes all of the delivery drops. The growing activity of scavengers in the lower levels has been eating at her attention leaving her to form a task force to keep them away from the ground level. They’re a nuisance to her operations, but she recognizes how necessary they are to maintaining peace in the lower levels (no new materials would lead to rioting of course).
Does she feel guilty about deceiving people into dying for a perfect afterlife so she can make money? Not at all, after all they’re doing this to support their families, and Mantra always delivers.
